PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intravenous pattern authenticating device. SOLUTION: A non-contact IC card reader is added to the intravenous pattern authenticating device, the registered number of the intravenous pattern is input by using a non-contact IC card, and intravenous pattern data is stored in the non-contact IC card, to construct an off-line system without using the host computer. First, the non-contact IC card is placed on the non-contact IC card reader in Step 6, a back of a hand is placed on a intravenous authenticating device in Step 7, intravenous data is read in Step 8, intravenous data stored in the non-contact IC card is collated with intravenous data input from the pattern authenticating device in Step 9, and the output signal to an electrical lock etc., is output in Step 11, if the intravenous data agree with each other. |
