FREQUENCY SELECTING TYPE OSCILLATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency selecting type oscillator (PLL controlled oscillator) with which the activation trouble of a crystal oscillator is prevented. SOLUTION: The frequency selecting type oscillator is provided with an IC integrating a PLL circuit having a voltage controlled oscillator(VCO) for generating the oscillation frequency by the crystal oscillator as a reference frequency and a storage circuit for setting the output frequency of the PLL circuit, and outputting an arbitrary frequency corresponding to data on the storage circuit. The VCO is started after the start of the crystal oscillator is detected.
