<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data noncontactly through optical elements, in combination of coupling means for coupling the elements using a rotary or fixed transformer, while a power system having buffer function provided by charge storing means feeds the elements with power. SOLUTION: The rotary noncontact type connector comprises a rotary transformer 1, a light-emitting element 8 or a light-receiving element provided on a rotor 3 and a fixedly disposed light-emitting element or light-receiving element 11. While the rotor 3 is fed with power via the rotary transformer 1, data are transmitted between the light-emitting element 8 and the light-receiving element 11. The transformer 1 has a power output end divided into two parts 1a, 1b: one 1a being connected directly to an electric circuit 9 and the other 1b connected to this circuit 9 via a charge storage means 12.</p> |
