PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method to support environmental performance improvement which improve influence of chemical material emission on environment. SOLUTION: This environmental performance improvement support system 1 which sets the output of chemical material constituting material in each emission movement destination on the basis of the type and input of the material inputted in a prescribed process and also sets information that improves environmental performance in accordance with the information of the chemical material to be emitted, sets information about an emission rate on the basis of emission information regulating the relation of the output of the chemical material of each emission movement destination to the input of material inputted to a device used in a prescribed process, and sets environmental performance information that evaluates the influence of the emission of the chemical material of output corresponding to the input of material to be inputted on environment and/or investment effect information about cost for reducing the chemical material to be emitted.
