PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of preventing clew condensation on a commodity sensor, thereby maintaining the commodity sensor at a suitable detection level and securing the most of sales chance. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine comprises a transfer means 4 for transferring a commodity S from a commodity path 26 to a commodity take-out port 5 when it is sold, a commodity receiving sensor comprising a photosensor for detecting the transfer of the commodity S by a transfer means 4, a fan 16 for sending cool air inside of a vending machine main body 2 to the commodity receiving sensor, an outside air inflow state detecting means for detecting whether the commodity receiving sensor is in a state that outside air is flowing in its vicinity from the outside of the vending machine 2, and a fan control means for controlling the fan 16 such that it is actuated when the state that the outside air is flowing in is detected.
