PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a heat roller for a fixing device is uneconomical due to oil consumption when an oil roller for supplying oil in order to prevent the offset of toner is always abutted on the heat roller. SOLUTION: One end of a lever 22 allowed to be rotated around a supporting axis 23 is abutted on the axial end of an oil roller 17, the other end is abutted on an eccentric cam 24 and the oil roller 17 is constituted so as to be separated from/abutted on the heat roller 15 by the rotation of the cam 24. The cam 24 is constituted of an one-way clutch mechanism 25 for rotating the lever 22 so that the oil roller 17 is abutted on the heat roller 15 at the start of image formation and rotating the lever 22 so that the oil roller 17 is separated from the heat roller 15 at the time of completing the passage of recording paper through the fixing device and a mechanism for transmitting rotation from a rotational driving source for the heat roller 15 to the mechanism 25. Consequently the oil roller 17 is abutted on the heat roller 15 only when recording paper is fed.
