PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having a roller of high accuracy which is capable of averting the problem of environmental dependence, decreases resistance fluctuations and is hardly deteriorated in ozone. SOLUTION: The secondary transfer roller 10 or the like is constituted as a multilayered body having an elastic layer 32 and a surface layer 33 on the upper layer of an arbor 31 consisting of arbitrary metal. The elastic layer 32 is formed of a mixture composed of an EPDM, NBR and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR). The surface layer 33 is preferably formed of material, such as fluorine material, having excellent weatherability.
