PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TV doorphone system with convenience for certificating the image of a visitor and then responding to the visitor through a telephone. SOLUTION: When a call button 12 is depressed, a control unit 22 forms an image file from a visitor's image that is taken by a camera 10 and stored in an image/voice captured in unit 25 by a file formation unit 27. Then, an electronic mail, on which visitor's information is entered, is formed through an electronic mail formation unit 28, and an image file formed in the file formation unit 27 is attached to the electronic mail. The mail is sent to the destination set previously by a data send-receive unit 26. Immediately after the transmission of the electronic mail is finished, a call is sent to the telephone number of the exterior telephone terminal 7 set previously as the transfer destination; and when the exterior telephone terminal 7 responds, a communication path between the exterior telephone terminal and the front door sub-telephone with a camera is connected.
