PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio printer switching device by which backward data transfer by a radio line from the printer side to the personal computer side are surely performed within time to satisfy a standard. SOLUTION: A radio switching device unit on the printer side acquires status data of the printer by a first cycle, holds it, processes it by a second period and transmits it to a radio switching device unit on the computer side irrespective of presence/absence of a request of the backward transfer from a computer. The radio switching device unit on the computer side acquires, holds the status data of the printer to be transmitted from the radio switching device unit on the printer side at a connecting destination by radio by the second cycle and responds to the computer by transferring the status data of the printer held in the radio switching device unit on the computer side to the computer when the backward transfer is requested from the computer. |
