<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which can be changed to a suitable-energy saving mode on the basis of the presence or absence of an optional board. SOLUTION: On the basis of installation or non-installation of an optional board 60, the image processing apparatus have different energy saving modes. That is, when the optional board 60 is installed, the apparatus cuts off the supply of power from a power supply circuit 25 to a reader 14 and a recorder 15 in its one energy saving mode. Meanwhile, when the optional board 60 is not installed, the apparatus cuts off supply of power from the power supply circuit 25 to the reader 14 and recorder 15 and to an image processor 21. Accordingly, on the basis of presence or the absence of the option board 60, the apparatus can be shifted to suitable one of the energy saving modes.</p> |
