PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly produce the rendering montage of a scene, while maintaining a quality. SOLUTION: An image-producing part 11 produces a rendering image for each group by using a high quality rendering method. Distance information from a specified view point in the scene to each pixel of the rendering image is held in a distance information holding part 12. An image compositing part 13 superimposes the rendering images for each group and compares the distance information, and selects the pixel positioned at the front as viewed from the view point and produces the rendering montage.
