PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which an image free of unevenness and having printing resistance and satisfactory image strength is obtained when a photopolymerizable photosensitive planographic printing plate is exposed with infrared laser light to form an image. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, the photosensitive layer of a photosensitive planographic printing plate obtained by forming the photosensitive layer comprising a photopolymerizable composition on the surface of a base is subjected to multi-beam scanning exposure with laser beam in the wavelength range of 650-1,300 nm and developed in such a way that the reactivity of the developed photosensitive layer is adjusted to a step clear level of <=6. |
