PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous determination of an abnormal condition due to a mistaking a family member as an intruder when the family member comes home late or goes out during a stay-at-home watching mode in a security device for a general family. SOLUTION: When an away-from-home watching setting means 8 is operated during the stay-at-home watching mode set by operation of a stay-at-home watching setting means 6, a control part 2 sets a stay-at-home and away-from- home watching mode. In the stay-at-home and away-from-home watching mode, the control part 2 actuates an entrance/exit delay timer function. In this case, a covered watching area is the same as a covered area in the stay-at-home watching mode. Therefore, when one of family members is expected to come home late, another family member at home can go to bed after operating the stay-at-home watching setting means 6 and subsequently carrying out a predetermined operation in the away-from-home watching setting means 8. The family member comes back home late can release the stay-at-home and away-from- home watching mode by carrying out the predetermined operation in the away- from-home watching setting means 8 within an allowable time T even if he/she is detected by a wireless sensor WS.
