<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically photograph a participant when the participant passes through a passing point provided on a course in a marathon race and also to surely specify the person himself/herself being the object without performing work for collating the person himself/herself with the photographed image. SOLUTION: A detecting device 9 and a photographing device 10 are installed at each passing point on the course of a marathon race, a registered participant who wants a passing record wears a portable chip 11, and the photographing device 10 photographs the registered participant detected by the detecting device 9 each time the registered participant runs through each passing point. A race operating center 5 records and stores the photographed image in a database through a database server 2 corresponding to the registered participant. A result reporting center 6 reads contents of the database in each registered participant and transmits the contents to a printing and delivery center 7. The printing and delivery center 7 issues a race completion certificate and a record certificate and distributes the race completion certificate and the record certificate to the person himself/herself.</p> |
