<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner less liable to adsorb moisture, having small humidity dependency of electrostatic charge, not causing image running, that is, image blurring at high temperature and high humidity due to filming of a crystalline compound on an electrostatic latent image support, that is, a photoreceptor and having good preservability. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains a crystalline compound which is a reaction product of an alcohol and a 14-32C fatty acid, a bonding resin and a colorant. The crystalline compound is obtained by reacting the alcohol with an excess equivalent weight of the fatty acid (and/ or its alcohol ester) based on the hydroxyl groups of the alcohol, neutralizing the unreacted fatty acid (and/or its alcohol ester) and carrying out washing.</p> |
