TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which has excellent low-temperature fixation property and cold-offset resistance even for a half-tone image and causes no trailing for an electromagnetic induction type fixing device. SOLUTION: This toner, applied to an image forming method for forming a fixed image on a recording material by heating and fixing a toner image on the recording material while pressing (I) a magnetic field producing means, (ii) a rotary heating member having at least a heating layer generating heat by electromagnetic induction and a release layer, and (iii) a rotary pressure member which forms a nip with the rotary heating member across a recording material, contains binding resin and a wax component and is characterized by that the peak top temperature (P1) of the maximum heat absorption peak is present in a range 70 to 120 deg.C of the DSC curve of the toner at temperature rise measured by a differential scanning calorimeter and at least one peak top temperature (P2) of the endothermic peak is present in a range of 120 to 160 deg.C.
