摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for assembling an optical pickup by which the optical pickup is assembled with high precision by preventing influence of a reflected light component of parallel light to parallelism adjusting parts facing each other. SOLUTION: The device for assembling the optical pickup 1 successively measures and adjusts position of a light receiving element 13 of an optical pickup unit 10 by PDS for detecting 6c, 7c of double knife edges 6, 7 on the way forward and the way backward. At one side of the double knife edges 6, 7 where no measurement is performed, a reflecting plate 8 for changing a direction of the reflected light is inserted at the middle of a route where after being branched by a beam splitter 3, the light proceeds to rotary parts 6b, 7b of the double knife edges 6, 7 to prevent the reflected light from returning in a direction of the beam splitter 3 as the reflected light. Accordingly the reflected light component from another side of the double knife edges 6, 7 is prevented from making incident and thereby an optical pickup device can be assembled with high precision.
