PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fillet surface generating method capable of generating a fillet surface even when an offset curved surface performs autointerference. SOLUTION: This fillet surface generating method is a method for generating a fillet surface that smoothly connects a certain surface 1 and another one of a certain surface 2, to have an offset surface generating process for generating an offset surface 1 and an offset surface 2 corresponding to the surface 1 and the surface 2 respectively, a line of intersection calculating process for finding a line of intersection between the offset surfaces 1 and 2 generated in the offset surface generating process, and a fillet surface generating process for generating a fillet surface that smoothly connects the fillet surfaces 1 and 2 by using the line of intersection calculated in the line of intersection calculating process as a central axis, and calculates the line of intersection on the basis of a triangle of the surface 1 and a triangle of the surface 2 by respectively performing polygon approximation of the surfaces 1 and 2 with the triangles in the case of failing in generating the offset surfaces in the offset surface generating process.
