PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent void and density decrease after a new cartridge is loaded in an image forming device on/from which a process cartridge having an automatic toner seal opening device can be loaded and unloaded. SOLUTION: When the process cartridge 1 is loaded on an image forming device body, couplings 43b and 44a engage each other. A motor 40 rotates in a CCW direction, a coupling 44 rotates in the same direction, and a swing gear 45 swings up to engage an idler 46; and then the rotation is transmitted to gears 47a, 47b, and 43b and a take-up shaft 32a rotates to wind a toner seal 20. When a seal detection part 31 detects the toner seal 20 being wound, the motor 40 reverses, the coupling 44 rotates in the opposite direction from the CCW, and the swing gear 45 swings down and disengages from the idler gear 46 to rotate an idler gear 48, thereby rotating a gear 60 which drives a toner agitating member. Consequently, toner is supplied to a developing roller. |
