PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly control the temperature of a fixing device and to improve the processing speed of the device 17 in an image forming device 1 capable of forming images by a plurality of process modes having respectively different speeds in a photoelectric process and performing both-side printing. SOLUTION: A blowing fan 35 for generating an air flow at least around the fixing device 17 is prepared and a passage is formed between the device 17 and the fan 35 near the upper part of the device 17. In order to realize both-side printing, a separation claw 29 connected to an inverted carrier path 23 is used at the time of switch-back carrying of paper led into a discharging carrier path 31, and at the time of changing a process mode, the opening/closing of the claw and the ON/OFF of the fan 35 are controlled so that the temperature of the device 17 is changed to a set temperature suitable for the changed process mode. |
