PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system, an information display method, an information display server and an information display program easy to maintain and manage, capable of easily altering the kind of information displayed on an information display terminal, easy to improve and capable of updating the presence status displayed by a presence status display device in real time without increasing wasteful access. SOLUTION: In this information display system 1, information is displayed by information display terminals 15a to 15h and the information display server 10. The information display server 10 has an update notice transmitting means 12 for transmitting an update notice to the information display terminal 15a or the like according to updating of information stored in an information storing means 13, and the information display terminal 15a has an information obtaining display means for obtaining updated information according to the update notice from the information display server 10 and displaying the same, thereby, the problem is solved.
