TRAFFIC MONITORING METHOD AND ITS SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic monitoring system for allowing a manager to execute the centralized management of each traffic monitor in desired specifications, and for allowing the manager to effectively utilize the analysis result of traffic by the traffic monitor for network management. SOLUTION: A manger 1 loads and executes a management application program (S1). The manager 1 transfers the management application program to each active monitor 2, and allows the active monitor 2 to execute this (S2, S3). The active monitor 2 provides an analysis result (S5) in response to a request (S4) from the manager 1. The active monitor 2 stops and unloads a package analyzing program in response to a request (S6) from the manager 1. The manager 1 stops and unloads the management application program after collecting the analysis result.
