PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail address change notification system that surely notifies only opposite parties a user wants to notify of a new mail address and also prevents opposite parties the user does not want to notify from being notified of the new mail address when the user changes his/her own e-mail addresses. SOLUTION: A server 20 has a homepage on which the old e-mail address of a first terminal (user terminal, a mail address changing person) 10 is publicly released and also, a new e-mail address is prevented from being publicly released, notifies the first terminal to the effect that a second terminal (user terminal, user who wants to obtain the new address of the first terminal) 40 has requested to obtain the new address when the second terminal 40 accessing the homepage requests to obtain the new address, and notifies the second terminal of the results of approval/disapproval decision in accordance with the approval/disapproval decision to the request to obtain the new address by the first terminal.
