PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for dynamo-electric machine capable of complete insulation between phases in a crossover between multi-phase magnetic poles. SOLUTION: One or more poles 29 arranged along an annular yoke 7 at intervals and extending toward one side in the direction of an axis 2 so as to separate from the annular yoke 7, retain crossovers for n-phases electrically connecting the same phase of windings to each other among a plurality of winding parts 15 wound around a plurality of magnetic poles 11. A plurality of winding conductor fitting grooves 37 are arranged on the poles 29 at an interval on one side in the direction of axis 2 and respectively open toward the outside in the radial direction and both of the sides in the circumferential direction of the rotational axis 2. In the plurality of winding conductor fitting grooves 37, the nearer from split cores grooves are, the farther toward the outside in the radial direction the bottom part thereof and the opening part opening are kept so as to be located on the outside in the radial direction. The width of the opening part along the axial direction of the opening part is set so as to be smaller than the diameter of the winding conductor.
