The connector consists of a tubular body (8) containing a sliding valve (40) and seat (28). It has an inner adapter (23) with sealed fixings (27, 38), an inner shoulder forming the valve seat, and a guide sleeve (30) for the valve. The sleeve is mounted coaxially inside the adapter and has an inner shoulder (31) opposite the valve seat for a valve return spring designed to hold the valve against its seat. The sleeve can have a base opposite the valve seat and be made with external surface ribs that hold it inside the adapter with an annular gap between the two.
