PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of editing images, without performing troublesome works. SOLUTION: The image display device is provided with a flexible image display means 1, having a displayable area, storage means 3 and 5 for storing image data to be displayed in the displayable area of the image display means, a detection means 2 for detecting the deflection of the image display means 1 and a control means 6 for limiting the displayable area of the image display means 1 to a prescribed display area and reducing and displaying the image data in the limited display area, when the detection means 2 detects the deflection of the image display means 1.
