Unpacking machine has a number of pressure-operated bottle grabs on a mounting plate movable up and down and each incorporating a rotary cap grip also movable up and down. The top end of the grip protrudes above the plate and has a wheel coupled to a rotary drive mechanism. Each grip has a screw thread (8) of the same pitch as that in the bottle, together with a pressure-operated driving member (7) acting on the cap from outside. The driving wheel is a gear (11), and the supply system for the medium under pressure is so arranged than the bottle grab (6) and the driving member can be worked independently of each other. The grip gears can be actuated by a ram via racks (10). |
