A process for applying colour on cementitious surface by marking grid and using stencil to colour inside of grid cells, to create tile pattern

A process for creating a substantially tile pattern on a cementitious surface, comprising the steps of: a) marking the surface in a plurality of cells which together substantially form a grid, b) taking a stencil and laying it on or adjacent one of the cells to substantially cover or align with a perimeter of the cell while leaving a central part of that cell uncovered, c) applying colour to the uncovered central part of the cell, d) removing the stencil from the cell, and e) repeating steps b) to d) for others of the cells to create a substantially tile pattern on the cementitious surface.
