Method for realization of a so-called command and control core for an onboard computer in a device that executes functions based on commands input by a user or dependent on values measured by sensors. Method has the following steps: input of data specific to the device carrying the onboard computer to create a database; selection of a library (20) of base parameter bricks, each brick being formed from a pre-written software block and being capable of interacting with other bricks. The bricks are assembled according to a predefined architecture and compiled together to produce source code (22).
