PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction machine which can maintain handleability and also can increase energy-saving efficiency, when it is used as a fax machine. SOLUTION: A first temperature for use in the recording operation of a fixing unit 111 and a second temperature lower than the first temperature are prepared for temperatures of the fixing unit 111, so that when a copy function is selected in a multifunction machine 100, the first temperature is set as the temperature of the fixing unit 111, while when a FAX function is selected, the second temperature is correspondingly set in conjunction with the temperature of the fixing unit 111. |
