PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which is superior in both productivity and cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: In this nonaqueous electrolyte battery, having a positive electrode 2, a negative electrode 3, a nonaqueous electrolyte and a separator 4 disposed between the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 3, the separator 4 comprises two layers of fine porous membrane, and the average pore diameter of the fine porous membrane on the positive electrode side is set to be larger than the average pore diameter of the fine porous membrane on the negative electrode side. |
