PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a desired videotape without operating and inputting an operation switch after TV broadcasting is finished. SOLUTION: The video incorporated type television receiver A having a sleeping time function is provided with a tuner 100 to which a received broadcast signalα1 is inputted, a decoder 200 for extracting a video signalβincluded in a broadcast signalα2 outputted from the tuner 100, a video reproducing part 300 for reproducing a videotape (a), a video reproduction on/off switch 440 for selectively inputting video reproduction on/off during the operation of the sleeping timer function, and a controlling part 500 for controlling each part on the basis of an operation input of the operation switch 400. The controlling part 500 decides whether or not broadcasting is over on the basis of a synchronizing signalγincluded in the video signalβwhen the sleeping time function operates, operates the video reproducing part 300 in the case of video reproduction on when the broadcasting is over as a result, and meanwhile, turns off a power supply switch before the power of the sleeping time is turned off in the case of video reproduction off.
