PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge attaching/detaching mechanism by which a process cartridge can be attached and detached by being interlocked with the opening/closing operation of an opening/closing member and to provide the process cartridge and an electrophotographic image forming device. SOLUTION: An auxiliary means 52 operates so that a cartridge mounting member 41 may be moved from a first position to the neighborhood of a second position in the former half of closing operation from the fully opening state of the opening/closing member 15 and the process cartridge B may be supported by a process cartridge supporting means 90a in the latter half of the closing operation. In the former half of opening operation from the fully closing state of the member 15, the operation of the means 52 is released. In the latter half of the opening operation, the member 41 is moved from the second position to the first position by mounting part holding means 40a and 40b.
