PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive signal-processing unit that controls an analog/digital converter circuit without going via a control processor and allows a digital signal processing circuit to process and output an output result of analog/digital conversion, so as to enable even a low speed control processor to conduct analog/digital conversion. SOLUTION: An A/D conversion start signal circuit 100A, that receives an interruption signal from a timer 200 generates a signal representing start of A/D conversion and gives the signal to an A/D conversion clock generating circuit 100B and an analog/digital converter circuit 300. An A/D conversion clock generating circuit generates (N+2) sets of clocks and gives them to the analog/digital converter circuit. The analog/digital converter circuit captures an analog input A100 at the 1st clock and executes/completes the analog/digital conversion at 2 to (N+1) sets of clocks. An A/D conversion end signal generating circuit 100C generates an A/D conversion end signal at the (N+2)-th clock to provide the signal to a digital signal processing circuit 400. The digital signal processing circuit 400 loads a conversion result from the analog/digital converter, applies digital processing to the result and outputs the result of digital processing.
