The invention relates to a device for moulding pieces of bread dough or similar belonging to the semi-vertical or similar type thereof, comprising a frame (1) provided with a sheeter (3) consisting of two cylinders (7) and (8), a floating belt (5) and a front (4) and rear (6) housing which are respectively made of two rollers (10<u>a</u>, 10<u>b</u>; 12<u>a</u>, 12<u>b</u>) and an endless belt (11;13), the axes of the rollers (12<u>a</u>, 12<u>b</u>) and/or at least one cylinder (7) are moveably mounted on the frame (1) and actuated in order to adjust the space between the housings (4, 6) and/or the sheeter (3), characterized in that the axes of the rollers (12<u>a</u>, 12<u>b</u>) and/or at least one cylinder (7) are actuated by automatic, controllable means and in that said means contain sealing means which protect them from flour dust to prevent clogging.
