A laminate suitable for packaging use comprises an aluminium foil of thickness 5-25, preferably 10-20, microns bonded on either side to a film of polyethylene terephthalate or isotaclic polypropylene of thickness 10-25, preferably 12À5-15 microns, and a further film, not in contact with the foil, of polyethylene or polypropylene of thickness 20-100, preferably 60-80, microns. The further film is preferably non-oriented while the other films are preferably oriented. |
