The present invention provides apparatus for providing an increased superannuation fund. The apparatus includes a processing system adapted to receive data representing one or more contributions made on behalf of respective individuals aged below a predetermined age. The one or more contributions are made by a third party and are invested in at least a first superannuation fund. The apparatus also operated to maintain a record of the money held in the first superannuation fund for each individual, thereby allowing the funds to be managed.
