Production of flexible thin layer circuits comprises: (a) preparing a flexible thin layer support (1) made from a non-conducting material; (b) inserting an opening (2) into the support; (c) applying a primary layer (3a, 3b) made from conducting material on the support in such a way that the layer is formed over the whole support including the wall of the opening; and (d) forming a circuit pattern on the primary layer. An Independent claim is also included for the thin layer circuit produced.
