A riding rice transplanter, wherein a crutch mechanism for a transmission case is provided that prevents the size of the body from enlarging, and is easy to attach/detach and improved in assembling performance at manufacturing and in maintainability at inspection; and wherein, in order to positively prevent seizure at friction portions such as a friction plate and a friction unit, an input shaft (56) is allowed to protrude from the opposite side surfaces of a transmission case (6), a speed change mechanism (13) is provided on one side of the input shaft (56) and between an engine (5) and the shaft and a crutch mechanism (14) is provided on the other side thereof, and an oil channel (163) allowing a crutch chamber (87) to communicate with the crutch mechanism (14) housed in the crutch chamber is provided in the wall surface (6b) of the transmission case (6).
