Device (1) for manufacturing a packaging consisting of a base part and two side walls comprises two magazines (2) holding the side walls (3), a removing device (4) removing the side walls from the magazines and having two moving side wall holders (6), a stamp (10) with two holding devices (12), a folded shape (13), a station (14) for laying out a base part (15) with side flaps on the folded shape, and at least one gluing station. The stamp and the holding devices are moved through the station and into the folded shape to place the side walls in the base part. The side walls are glued to the side flaps. Independent claims are also included for a process for manufacturing the packaging and for the packaging. Preferred Features: The side wall holders are each provided with an arm (8) pivoting about an axis (7) and guided along a linear guide (9).
