This invention is a HDPE foam core laminate structure with an HLMI-HDPE (high load melt high-index density polyethylene) surface formed or thermoformed into structures including reusable pallets and/or containers. The laminate structure comprises an HDPE foamed sheet core having a solid or foamed material on at least one surface. Preferably, high-molecular-weight HDPE skin surfaces are employed to yield skins with high impact strength, and fractional melt, medium-molecular-weight HDPE (MI=0.2-0.4 g/10 min) are used for the foam layer.
