Adjustable bed, comprising a frame with a central casing (10) arranged centrally under a mattress base, legs (24), and an adjustment mechanism. A telescopic leg arrangement (11) connects to at least one end of the central casing, in the longitudinal direction of the mattress base, and has an upper leg (22) articulated in the central casing for movement in the vertical direction, and a two-leg stand (24) which is telescopically displaceable in the upper leg (22) and, together with the upper leg, supports the central casing in a vertically adjustable manner.
