The car window guiding mechanism comprises first and second areas (3) made from different plastic material. The first area has a guide for the upper surface section and a lower coefficient of friction for good gliding. The first area is in form connection with the second area and guides transfer force to a force receiving area (4a,b). Strut-shaped recesses (12) provide anchoring for the first area and an angled section (9) grips the window.
