<p>A knitting machine thread feed unit has a lever spring-operated moving end-stop. A knitting machine has a thread feeding device with one or more thread detector levers (26) in a housing. Each lever moves between an operating position and a response position. In the operating position, the thread is detected by a lug (28) that is aligned with the thread guide (18, 22) lugs (19, 23). Before the operating position feed zone, the thread detector (26) touches the stop, after which it is no longer displaced by the thread (8). The thread detecting lever (26) is flexible. The lower end of the thread detecting lever (26) can be moved manually upwards beyond the stop, creating a free space between the thread guides (19, 23).</p> |
