The present invention refers to an apparatus for producing metal sheet by electrolytic means. In one of its embodiments the apparatus for producing metal sheets (16) by electrolytic means comprises: at least one anode (12); at least one cathode (14) having a surface on which the metal (15) will be deposited so as to form said metal sheets (16); an electrolytic bath (11) in which said anode (12) and said cathode (14) are placed; electric supply means (19, 18, 16) for said cathode (14); continuous removal means (17, 18) for said metal sheets (16); activation means (18, 16) suitable for starting the movement of said surface; characterized in that said surface consists of a band of continuous conductive deformable sheet (14); said activation means of said moving surface comprise said metal sheets (16).
