Testing living tissue, to determine the presence of prion-related illness, comprises using blood sample (1) taken from the tissue to which is added at least one agent. Plasminogen is recovered (2) from the blood sample, to be bonded (4) to a prepared amino acid (3) and preferably lysine as a ligand, and marked by a fluorescent dye. The ligand is evaluated by laser fluorescence (6).
