PURPOSE: To provide a stamper exchange method and an optical disk molding die by which a stamper exchange unit component on which a stamper is mounted beforehand is easily exchanged from the outside of the die without consuming time for the exchange of the stamper in a vertical type molding machine. CONSTITUTION: Bolts 15 for fixing the stamper exchange unit component and a fixed side template 3 are provided penetrating through the symmetrical four parts of the stacked stamper exchange unit component and fixed side template 3. The bolts 15 are tightened by one driving lever 28 operated from the outside of the die to fix the stamper exchange unit component to the fixed side template 3.
