摘要 PURPOSE: A method for forming a multi-component coating on a substrate at a low temperature is provided to obtain a fracture-resistant coating with durability, which is useful for the roadway markings in winter. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of applying the component which comprises at least one water-insoluble absorber selected from the group consisting of an organic super absorbing polymer, an ion exchange resin, a hollow spherical polymer, a molecular sieve, talc, an inorganic absorber, a porous carbon material, a non-porous carbon material and their mixtures to the surface; applying the component comprising first aqueous binder to the surface; and drying the coating at a temperature of 0 deg.C or less. Preferably the ion exchange resin contains an acid group selected from the group consisting of sulfonate, carboxylate, phosphate, amino phosphate, their salts and their mixtures, and is transparent or semi-transparent. The organic super absorbing polymer is prepared from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an acryl monomer, a methacryl monomer and their mixture.
