DISK LUBRICATION MECHANISM

A system for processing a disk (302) includes an end-effector (306) having a plurality of fingers. The end-effector (306) is mounted to a rotary actuator. The rotary actuator is mounted to a linear stage (334). The linear stage (334) is positioned adjacent to an air track (303) and a tank (305). The rotary actuator and the linear stage (334) place the fingers into the inner diameter of a disk (303) on the air track (303). The fingers grip the inner diameter of the disk (303). The rotary actuator and the liner stage (334) then place the fingers holding the disk (302) into the tank (305). The tank (305) is filled with a processing liquid such as a lubrication solution to lubricate the disk (302).
