<p>A method and apparatus for precision stabilization in optical communication systems, characterized by an optical tapped delay line which resolves multiple wavelength signals having extremely narrow wavelength spacing. The invention has particular utility in future DWDM systems having channel spacing at or below 25GHz. Laser output wavelengths are alternatively or simultaneously locked, tuned or monitored depending upon the embodiments selected.</p> |
